What Styled is

Styled is a men’s personal styling app that answers one question every morning: what should I wear today? You scan the clothes you already own. Styled reads your calendar and the weather. Ten seconds later it hands you one outfit answer from your own closet — appropriate for the day, appropriate for the meetings, appropriate for the forecast.

It is not a shopping app. There is no feed, no social network, no inspiration board, no curated outfit marketplace. Styled is a decision eliminator for men who don’t want to spend mental energy on clothes but do want to look like they care.

Why Styled exists

The founder built Styled because most mornings he was standing in his closet wasting ten minutes on a decision he’d make again tomorrow, and again the day after. Styling apps for men either sold him clothes he didn’t need or asked him to take a quiz. He wanted something that worked with what he already owned and got out of the way.

How it works

  • Scan: Add items to your wardrobe by taking photos. The app identifies type, color, and formality.
  • Open: Each morning, open Styled. It has already checked the weather and today’s calendar.
  • Dress: Get one outfit from your own clothes. Veto it for a different suggestion. Follow up in the Stylist chat if you have questions.

Technology

Styled is built with React Native and Expo, uses Apple’s EventKit framework for calendar integration, and sends wardrobe and context data to Claude (by Anthropic) for AI-driven styling recommendations. Subscriptions are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
